  • 1. What regular maintenance do HVAC systems need?

    The most important part of HVAC maintenance is to maintain unrestricted air flows. Dust, dirt and debris are the worst enemies of you HVAC system. All the filters have to be kept clean as well as the coils and heat exchangers. Furthermore, we recommend that you filters are inspected and changed, if required, on regular basis.   • 2. How often maintenance of my HVAC system has to be done?

    HVAC system has to be serviced at least once a year – in spring or early summer. However, we recommend to do maintenance twice a year. This will ensure maximum efficiency, enable us to foresee any possible issues and extend your system life cycle.

  • 3. Is there anything I can do before calling for service technician?

    You have to make sure air conditioner or furnace is turned on, verify that the breakers and disconnects are turned on and the thermostat is set correctly. Also make a note of any strange noises and smells.

  • 4. Why it is important to have a contract for maintenance?

We will make sure that regularly scheduled tune-ups and filter replacement are done on time and you system is being kept at most efficient level.

  • 5. Why is it important to have regular maintenance on my AC system?

It is a mechanical device with a motor, electrical components and fuel! That is why it is crucial to have scheduled maintenance of the heating and air-conditioning system by a qualified technician.   • 6. Is there a charge for diagnosing what is wrong with my system?

    Yes, this is a part of the service call. The charge is $115.00, which included a technician’s travel time and expenses and ? hour diagnosis. However, if you require replacement of any major parts or change of the entire unit, and you purchase the equipment from Denair, service charge fee will be waved (see table).
